Just finished my GCSEs and as I am planning to apply for medicine in the future I wanted to do some medical related volunteering. I just looked and I have to be 18 or over to do this and that means I would have already applied. What useful experiences can I do for medicine because I am 16. I want to make my long summer worthwhile

I am 16 too and I am soon going to begin volunteering in a care home. This may be a good use of your time as it is related to a career in medicine in a way.

I checked a few websites for the carehomes near me and they require me to be 18

Actually most employers look for past work experience. If your 16 you won't be able to get much. I'd say just try to get any job as that would make you look like a grafter from a future employer's prospective. Hope I helped.
