Hey guys, i recently finished my a levels and my exams did not go to plan. I did OCR psychology, and know that i have not reached my full potential in both exams. Recently my mental health has been deteriorating, and in the exams i felt great anxiety and could not concentrate properly. In mocks just before the exams i had been getting high A grades.

I know that im not going to get into my firm choice uni, and therefore would like to retake OCR psychology (no other A Levels). I honestly feel like with an improvement in my mental health this time next year i will be able to achieve an A or even an A*.

I was thinking about retaking all the exams in the course, 2 AS and 2 A2. Is this a good idea? I will most probably take the exams at my school, but enter as an external candidate and do my studying at home. I hope to stay in contact with my psychology teacher from school, in order to get help with anything i am stuck on.

Has anyone else done this? If yes what was your experience, and what was your final grade?

    Thanks

If you want to do it and if you think you can cope with it then go for it. You will already have the knowledge for your subjects so it's mainly just a case of going over notes and doing many past papers.

Your health comes first though so only do it if you can cope. If not, don't.
