Me and my mum have been arguing about this for a while. She says she has never heard anybody else say it the way I do (Doll).

lol well I say it like doll. I gues the phantom tollbooth confused me at an early age.

Wait, how do you say toll? agh /me explodes.

edit: nah, you can't possibly say tole.. heh. It'd be like hoad in the tole... or something.

My mum's from up North and even though I'm from London/Essex I've still picked up bits from her accent. All my friends find it histerical (sp) that I say yer, instead of year. I don't even realise I'm saying it like that but they seem to pick up on it  Does anyone else say yer, and if you say yer/year enough it sounds funny
