6b?
So ive done part a and ive started b)
So far ive expanded the bracket to get z^3-3z +3/z -1/z^3
I put that into 2 brackets to get (z^3-1/z^3) -3(z-1/z)
Now what do i do next?

You've rearranged it correctly.. now use more 'definitions' that you know.

Hopefully you've spent a while trying different things to solve this problem before asking.

Anyway there's a reason they got you to do what you did in the first part.

Okay so i replace the first bracket with 2isin3theta right? Then i replace the second bracket with? Give me 2 mins , ill try working it out

Okay so ive got 2isin3theta -6isintheta , so a is 2 and b is -6?
