    So if you do past papers as revision and it, without you knowing, comes as the actual exam paper then is that cheating?

    Of course it's not. Even if you did somehow know it's coming up, doing past papers is not cheating.

    You're in for a surprise at university when lecturers cba to write new questions so use old ones.

    This is most definitely cheating. Shame on you. You need to let them know immediately that you cheated, before they find out that you practiced those exact questions before the exam.
