I'm currently doing Maths, Physics and Computer Science at A-Level and I've been looking around at degrees I can go on to do. One of the most recommended degrees I've seen is Mechanical Engineering since I'm doing both of the subjects that most Uni's want (Maths and Physics) and it sounds very interesting however I have very little actual experience with Engineering at the moment... is it still worth considering?

I'm just worried if someone who hasn't had much experience with Engineering etc. since Pre-GCSE would cope or like doing Mechanical Engineering at University, despite already doing the 2 subjects all Uni's want for you to get on the course.

Sorry you've not had any responses about this. Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

You can also find the Exam Thread list for A-levels here and GCSE here. :dumbells:

Very few people, and I mean very few, have any engineering experience at your level, so you'd be in the same boat as almost everyone else.
