It has come to the end of my first year of doing BA(Hons) Social Work degree, and i have failed half my modules. One i got 34%, the next was 28% and the third one i failed was 37%. (the passed ones were 58%, 59%, 44%).
I am just wondering is it more likely they would say I have to redo year 1? which if it is i will have to pull out ( as can;t afford an extra year)

Realistically you've only completed half a year so either you extend (if they allow) and do this so if you graduated you'd be in a different graduation to your peers, or you would have to redo the year.
Most universities require a 40% pass rate for every module to progress into the next academic year.
Don't forget if you have taken out a student loan you're allowed a year's grace period for such things like failing or changing courses etc.
Please contact your university and see what they say.
Best of luck.
