No interest in any girls I know now except for one who I've liked for ages. We're finishing up lower sixth, so I'll try and ask her out before summer. I know I wanna just get it off my chest but if we do get together, I don't wanna get in deep if we're just gonna be on opposite sides of the country a few months later. I'm torn cause I really like her but I don't know if it'd work if we got together or if distance would kill it off. Anyone got experience with this?

Happened to me before going off to uni. It was funny, because we broke up before uni started anyway but it was good while it lasted and I was grateful for the experiences. It's one way to keep you busy for the summer anyway, and if you're successful and it works out through uni then great, but if it doesn't,.. you won't be the first person like that and you won't be the last. I would say just go for it and live in the now.

You do, otherwise you wouldn't be posting this...

If you're in lower sixth, you won't be going to uni for nearly 18 months, why does that stuff matter now? You've no idea if you'll still be together in like a year's time, so why not go for it?
