Firstly, does anyone else get loads of flies flying around in circles in their house at this time of year?

Secondly, how do I get rid of them!

Yes! It's worse in my kitchen, which is gross, but it can't really be helped. Open a window or a door and loads just let themselves in and can't seem to find their way out again. I'm gonna try a bug net over the door and some repellants this year though. Apparently vodka works well, as does lemongrass oil, so a home-made repellant spray could be something to try. I used to use the sticky paper strips that hang from the ceiling but it's really not nice going into a room and seeing a bunch of dead flies stuck to some yellow paper haha. I live right at the bottom of fields full of sheep so we get loads

Yeah. I live in the dales, basically. We gets loads of flies through the summer and loads of spiders through any extra warm or cool temperatures. It's not very fun
