Ironically, I read one of your old threads earlier this afternoon; any developments? I am semi-tempted to make one or two European applications, and seeing what happens when I hear about funding in March or thereabouts. I am semi-interested in this thread too!

Gave up on the European dream unfortunately. It all seemed a bit confusing and I'm not that good on my own in foreign countries, so I guess I copped out! Decided to apply for this MSc instead, so now looking for any evaluations of it.

Maybe for a job, definitely because it's nice to have an Oxford degree.
I speak Russian and want to work there, Russian studies though is more similar to non-practical subjects such as philosophy and history rather than business-oriented ones.

You do realize that there are like 300 million ppl who speak Russian without an Oxford degree.

Just saying...what kind of job are you going to get IN RUSSIA?

The only thing that seems complex to me is the time taken to complete a masters degree; one, one and half or two years depending on what country you are in, which I suppose is somewhat equivalent to an MPhil in that regard, but it is still annoying! The way things are done in Switzerland seems weird too.

Hi,
I applied for the Msc In Russian and Eastern European Studies back in November 2012. Since then I have continuously been moved on to the next application window. I was wondering if anyone from the March deadline of 2013 has been accepted yet?
