    I am hoping to go to nottingham to do either computer science or geography i would prefer computer science but im not sure how ill do on the new course (and im slightly stronger in geography). Ive been told that i will get rejected as it looks like im indecisive? And i know that i will have tk write two personal statements

    In most cases I think you're only allowed to submit one personal statement, to cover all of your five choices. Geography and Computer Science are certainly very different, and you should try to decide on one before applying.

    If you have good grades and you manage to balance your personal statement well (i.e. making links between the two subjects, rather than devoting one half of the page to each) then you have a reasonable chance of receiving an offer. It might be a good idea to contact the university directly to ask how much your application will be affected.

    You will look indecisive and uncommitted, and you don't get to write two statements, so it's better by far to decide what you really want to do and make a properly targeted application which will have much more chance of succeeding.
