    Obviously the bigger is better but you also need to look at resolution and such

    Look at the resolution.
    Different technologies & features.
    Refresh rate.
    How far will you sit from the monitor? 24 to 27 is not much but makes the difference

    It really does depend on your budget & what GPU you have.

    If you don't want to spend too much (£260) then this I what I use:

    If you can go bigger and better then go for it! I personally don't think I could bring myself to spend more than the price of my TV on a monitor but you can easily spend over £500 on one.
