Hi! Apologies if this is in the wrong place (which it probably is) but I need to ramble for a bit.

I don't really know what to do with my life? Most of the people I know already know the career path they want to follow or at least their university course, however I don't really know myself. All I know is I 100% want to go to university.

I think I would love to maybe explore the reasons why people commit crimes, help aid the solving of crimes, investigate things like how to check if people are lying or not by their body language etc.. I don't even know which careers entail anything like this or if it's a realistic goal.

I really need help as to choosing a career path e.g a really long list of possible jobs relating to psychology/sociology/crimonology etc. so that I can pick a uni course that would reflect that.

I have no idea what to do to be honest...any help on choosing a career or uni course etc. would be helpful!

It sounds like you would like careers in forensic science, psychology and criminal law... The best thing to do is look at universities near you and book some open days so you can go along, listen to what the lecturers have to say about each subject and decide whether or not the course interests you.

You could also try some work experience if possible e.g. a law firm or a university department or company. If you try things out, then your list will get shorter

Have you looked around universities for criminology (since that sounds right up your street)? Birmingham, Leicester, Liverpool etc? Like the other post says - look at universities nearby or ones you have an existing interest in and be sure to ask about them. You'll find lots of free careers advice everywhere and online. Visit some taster days/sessions :-) Good luck!
