do they have a line of old retirerers pulling an all nighter counting? what if they miscount?
''1 million and sixty six, 1 million and...''

''margaret, you've always told me you'll show me that blue muffin recipe''

'':dolphin::dolphin::dolphin::dolphin::dolphin::dolphin::dolphin: hell dorothy, you lost me count!''

if they can do it in one night then why do we have to wait 3 months for exam results

they probably write a tally chart on a white board so they don't lose count.

Because you don't just count exams, you have to read them and mark them...

Or would you prefer your examiner to just say "yep, that's an essay, I'm going to guess they got...50%, next!"...?

It's all a conspiracy. They don't really count the votes. The government just decides what result they want beforehand and then pretends that's what most people voted for.

    Maybe at first...

When you get past the first 100 you slow down. And you're ignoring the fact that exams get regulated and then the scores have to be converted to grades which reflect the national performance. All of that is painfully obvious. It's a no brainer why exams take longer to sort out.
