    There are values in life such as pride which cannot be valued in sterling.

    You think that's patronising? Oh dear. I could do a lot worse. But you didn't answer the kid's question, you just said "Oh it'll get better", knowing fine well there is no guarantee of this whatsoever!

    I'm also assuming the OP is a child, he's doing his GCSE's....

    Exactly, I expect food prices to rise among other things due to trade barriers. Personally I think Britain has shot itself in the foot. It's faced with the prospect of Scotland leaving, having Boris Johnson as PM, increased trade barriers, having to join the EEA.... This is a disaster
