So I am finally taking the plunge and going back to studying.

In the past, (going back a fair while), since I haven't had a UK passport, I've had to get someone to fill in a passport form for me with their details ie a teacher, bank manager etc. Do I need to do that this year? I couldn't see it in the required evidence bit. Also, disabled students' form, if I don't fill it in will if affect when and if my application gets processed/when I'll get paid??

Also, it asks for "original birth certificate and birth or adoption certificate form" will I get both when I go to buy a new birth cert?? Thanks in advance.

You can apply for DSA at any time. Most people apply when they apply for their loans.
