Hi, so I applied to Primark over a month ago and just got a call asking me to come in for an interview next week. What should I expect? I know everyone on here says it's easy but since I recently got rejected from McDonalds I'm thinking that maybe "easy" isn't as easy as I think, haha. Btw I'm a 17 year old student with some volunteering and babysitting experience, but no actual previous work.

My interview with Primark was fairly casual and they only asked me like 5/6 questions...it was one of the easier interviews ive ever done

Do you remember what kind of questions they asked? And were you offered the job?

Hello! I applied to primark like a year ago when I was 16, and I unfortunately had to quote because of the fact that I had exams coming up. When I went, I dressed in a smart outfit to try and make the best impression. I sat down and had a one on one interview with a supervisor, where I got asked various questions such as "why do you think you'd be good for this role?" "What are your hobbies?" Etc. I also had to do a bit of a role playing activity where I had to pretend to try and sell two item to a customer (like the sweets or face wipes that are on the sides of the tills for £1). That's about it! If you have any other questions feel free to message me!

I got the job and I love it!

    I was asked:

"Why I'd be good for the role."
"When have I given good customer service?"
    "What is good customer service?"
"What could I bring to the team?"

then some scenario questions, it was really easy,
we mostly talked about the fact that i'd just trekked across the country just to drop something off at the uni and how I had shown commitment with that

Do you think it will matter that I don't have any previous experience? I've been looking for a job for a year on and off now, I want this one desperately haha.

Definitely not! When I had applied I hadn't had any previous job, and I still got given the job
