A Level Reform - What's changing

I'm starting A levels this year and I've researched about the courses I've chosen to do (Maths, Chemistry and Biology). I'm curious as to what are the changes and how it's going to affect me.

For chemistry and biology the exam you take at the end of year 12 is an AS. This grade will count for nothing if you continue with the subject in year13. At the end of year 13 you will be examined on 2 years of content and given an a level grade. I'm not sure but I think for maths nothing has changed, so your AS grade makes up half of your final a level grade.

As above. Nothing has changed for Maths.
