I feel like I'm loosing my best friend as a couple of years ago she made a friend who lived ages away. They're best friends as well and after a while I told her I was jealous about it. I've got over the jealousy now but nothing feels the same anymore. We don't laugh loads and she's always on her phone not even interested in our friendship. We've been friends for 7 years now and she still thinks we're best friends and nothing's changed. But I feel everything has changed it seems like she has to hang out with me, it doesn't seem like she actually wants to hangout anymore. I just don't know what to do because it's breaking my heart. 2 years ago she started self harming and I couldn't cope with it, it hurts me when I see her because I carry so much guilt and she doesn't know. She now tries to hide when she's making plans with her internet friends and it hurts me because when we hang out she's making other plans with people I have never met. It's hurting me so much and I don't know what to do. There's no way I'll tell her because trust me she wouldn't understand like she didn't with the jealousy.

I've been through a kind of similar situation. I advise you to stay away from her for a little bit until you've got everything settled inside your head. For the meantime you should focus on yourself, alright? Trust me, you'll figure out what's right for you. Best friends stay with each other through thick and thin, I don't think that's what she's doing now, isn't it? You'll eventually promise yourself that you're going to move on but find that you are still clinging on to her, not acceptable! Don't stress yourself on this, best of luck.
