Painting on canvas with acrylics

Hi.
I just wanted to know some tips and tricks on how to paint well with acrylics on canvas, because currently I don't think I'm doing a very good job. Also I've never actually painted on a canvas with acrylic paint.

I love using acrylics and they are great once you get the hang of them. They are quite difficult to blend as they dry very quickly so when blending colours I add both colours to the canvas and use a dry brush to blend the together using my brush in a swirling motion. Also, acrylics dry slightly darker than they initially appear which is something to keep in mind. It is also important that if use use bold pencil lines to draw your image on, you rub them out because you may be able to see them through the paint once your painting is complete.
