How do you write a personal statement if you literally do nothing with your life? Watch

    Like I have 0 life, how am I meant to write extra-curricular things I do when I don't have anything?? Like, can someone with no life aswell explain how they did it?

    As obvious as it sounds, you need to start doing something. Universities like well rounded individuals, not just people who go to school and go home and go to bed. For me, I was quite a boring person (I'm so much worse now that I work full time, I literally do nothing except work and go to the pub everyday) so when I applied to university I struggled too. I do read quite a lot, I had done some volunteering (only for like 6 months and left but still) and I had a job.

    Think of something you could take up as a hobby, when I lost my job I started a blog years ago reading books for new authors and reviewing honestly. I did a 'book a week for a year challenge' I got my brother to learn me how to design websites, and I did a couple of online courses. Just think outside the box and do something, even just a couple of hours a week so you have something to talk about
