# What do I need to get in my exam to get 40% overall? watch

1. For my course work i got 40%,56%,58% and 70%
These are worth 12.5% each which in total =50%
My final exam is worth 50% and it is out of 75
2. It's basic math. Try it at least.
3. 24%
4. In your coursework you got 28% out of the total 50%
So you need to get 12% out of a total of 50% so in the exam you need to get 24% to get 40% overall.

22%?Well I can break down the maths if you want. (12.5*0.4=5) + (12.5*0.56=7) + (12.5*0.58=7.25) + (12.5*0.7=8.75)= 28%
So in the coursework you got 28% out of the maximum 50%.

Therefore, to get 40% you need to get 12% from your exam.
This 12% needs to come from the exam which is worth 50%. So 12/50 will tell us the actual percentage you need to get in the exam to pass, this being 24%.
