Hey people, not sure if this is the right catergory but here goes...

I'm going on 27 and about to complete my Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating.

Thing is I'm looking to move off the tools and into the office maybe with a developer such as Persimmon or Barretts. Only thing is I'm not sure what to do, I know I wouldnt want to be a site manager because I've seen how stressed out they get.

I've been on the tools most of my working life and it's sarting to take it's toll on me. My back is wrecked.

I'm not sure what I can progress on to and earn more than what I would as a heating engineer (which is my current job)

    Any info appreciated..

    Thanks.

So if you don't want to be a site manager, what jobs do you fancy?

And have you seen any recruitment ads from the major developers for roles you might be interested in? They would usually specify if a degree is required (some jobs don't actually need a degree) and if so do they require it in a specific subject (often they don't care).

They should have a careers section on their websites.

    Eg
    http://www.persimmonjobs.com/
    http://www.barrattcareers.co.uk/
    https://www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/careers

Also you can have a look on LinkedIn to see the roles/qualifications held by current employees.
