    Hi all,
I took the Higher tier GCSE English exam in June 2016, I answered q1,2,3,5,6. I got 70 marks out of 90 looking at the AQA grade boundaries in previous years is about an A, however I felt I did quite badly in the exam, the general mark for a D is about 36 marks what happens if I don't achieve 36 or higher? Do I fail English?

    Thank you

well, the government's requirement is to get a C grade in English and maths GCSE, if you failed to get a C then you have to resit until you get it but if you become an adult then i think you dont have to carry on but you wont be accepted in Uni because all the Unis are looking for a C grade in English unless English is your foreign language :cute:
    hope that helps
