    Hi, I have heard that you do not get a student loan for your living costs if you are at the OU? Is this true?? I am not planning on living at home due to a number of reasons and would rather live in student accommodation work part time and do my degree that way.

    That's true, yes. OU students are only entitled to the tuition fee loan.
