Retaking some A2 modules and applying for uni again
I've just recently finished my A level exam and I don't think I did well enough to get into my firm choice Bristol who've asked me for an AAB. I'm thinking of resitting some of my A2 module maths modules for 2017 as an external student. Would it be acceptable to apply for university for 2017 (apply this September 2016) ? And also what would russel group universities think of this? I'm only planning on resitting 4 A2 maths and further maths modules.

It'd be fine, just did exactly what you're saying this year. Even Oxford are ok with it.
