3rd in First Year. What are my chances of internship in Summer 2017?
In first year, got couple 2:1 marks, couple 2:2 marks, but majority are 3rd marks with overall 45%. Gonna buckle down and hopefully get at least a 2:1 overall for 2nd year. What are my chances of an internship for next year with my 3rd though?
There are a few internships you might be able to apply for that won't take into account your first year marks. From my experience: KPMG, Deloitte, Thomson Reuters... I don't want to generalise but not too many firms ask for first year scores for applications for internships but that could just be from my own experience. anyways, hope I could help and good luck! 
You can't change your marks so just apply and you'll find out.
