Are you sensing a mini repeat of the EU referendum in football?

    Had to.

But who's going to be thick enough to replace him?!

Dreadful England manager. Too loyal to players like Wilshere and Sterling - and never worked out a squad or formation that actually worked.

Dodge is an apt word - considering him issuing a statement that was either written before the tournament or someone at the FA's PR team is a very quick writer. Not taking any questions last night didn't help and it seems he was forced to do today's press conference which was a car crash of a performance..

Compared to Eriksson and Capello, he got a lenient ride from the press considering the WC 2014 performances and results.

    The man is horrendous.

He reeks of smugness, and reinforces all the failings in the English footballing system.
