So, a while ago I was a bit ill and as a result my hair broke a lot; so naturally at the moment, it looks very layered. It's recovered a bit, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips or things that may help/have worked for them?
Plus maybe it can be of use to others wondering the same thing; I've found by switching to a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner that my hair has become a lot more healthy, and letting it dry naturally when I can rather than blowdrying.
If you want to protect your hair but dye it, from experience La Riche's Directions Semipermanent dyes are brilliant; when I had just below chest length hair, half a tub would easily cover it, and I found it lasted longer that Manic Panic's dye did. Just be sure to wash the colour until the water runs completely clear, because otherwise it will stain anything white for a few days! And you'll definitely need gloves aha.
Hair health/vitamin-growth tablets haven't done anything for me, apart from taste nasty! I've tried both the hair/skin/nails and the hair vitamin ones from Holland and Barrett whilst on sale.
But we haven't even met!
