I had my heart set on starting a joint History and Politics degree, but I got 1% less (I needed 70% and got 69% on my Access Course) than what was needed, so I have accepted a place on a History and Anthropology degree instead.

I have been told that I ***may*** be able to change degree in the early weeks of the course, and I'm just wondering if any of you know whether this is possible or not.

    Thanks

People often change courses at or near the start of their degree. Your complication is that the uni have already bumped you off the course to which you want to change. You need to find out what you need to do to be allowed to change, though at this stage they might not be specific.
