    Hey, I'm wanting to connect my phone to itunes so i can download music onto it but it doesn't recognise the device is connected. IIt's the most recent itunes, tried different ports and cables, restarted both and updated the drive, no luck

    Maybe delete it and then install it again?

    I saw advice saying to uninstall and re-stall itunes but then it got complicated with different files being deleted and no idea how that would work

    i think i found a solution, i followed this video until it 0.37. so i updated the apple software, then my itunes recognised the device
    hope this helps anyone who was same position

    Have you tried using different usb ports on your laptop/pc and have you also cleared the usb port from getting blocked as i know when my mac gets dusty, the dust can cause a small blockage.
