Doesn't matter, the album is bawring. :wink: I prefer the original as it's got more of an old Norwegian folky black metal feel to it - like an early Enslaved cover.

Remake art wins.


Logo stands out too much on the original, as with many older BM albums, and I hate that ****. It's like when people make presentations at uni and stick on AS MANY COLOURS AS POSSIBLE.

For a cover album the new Ulver is really good. This is how cover albums should be done.

This new Aura Noir album is really growing on me also THEY'VE BEEN CONFIRMED FOR DAMNATION ALONG WITH ELECTRIC WIZARD AND 40 WATT SUN and Gama Bomb who nobody cares about next to the others.

So far I'd like to see every band providing MDB play hardly any new stuff, from what I've heard that hasn't been very good at all.

The only one I'm really excited for though is Pig Destroyer, cause I've not seen them in a long time.

Good bands above, but what about something more melodic oriented ?
I've found these guys a few days ago and they shocked me; they play progressive , very DT oriented, with countless other influences.

Yeah I know about the "fight" between SW and Circus, and it's more a matter of tastes than objective quality I guess, they're both really good.
Still can't figure out why they have like 7K likes on FB : (, that's really low.

Who cares if they sound similar. Circus Maximus make genuinely good music. DT stopped doing that in the 90s.


I've listened to Seventh Wonder a few times because they always seem to get mentioned with Circus Maximus. The latter are better.
