I'm in the south east of England, and will need to sort out train fares and cards for september, when I start college. I've looked at the southern railway website and have found two possible options of either a Unizone card or a third off student card. Anyone have any opinions or experience with either of these, or know of any websites to help calculate costs? Any help appreciated

The student / young persons (16/25) railcard you're referring to, you have to spend at least £12 to use it before 10am.

The National Rail website gives you details of train ticket costs.

Wow, that's a pain, especially as I'll often be getting 8 o'clock trains :/ the Unizone seems like the best option now that I've tried to work things out as much as I can
