After the 5 yr course of MBBS/MBChB/whatever, do students get placed into a job immediately?
Also, I have heard that students need to work while studying for their specialisation. So in this period, will we earn money in these jobs or will these be like training positions?
    Thanks

You apply to the Foundation Programme in October of your final year of medical school and start work the following August.

As for postgraduate exams, yes you will be in paid work when you sit them. At what point you can do this depends on the exam you're sitting e.g. some you can can register for as soon as you finish medical school, others require you to first be doing core or speciality training.
