I thought about choosing either university of Edinburgh, university of Winchester, Glasgow, Coventry university or Plymouth on UCAS next year. Any reviews on these universities? By the way sorry if I choose the wrong topic, I didn't knew which one to choose.

Why did you pick those particular universities and, as SeanFM also asked, for which course?

tbh looking at UCAS search shows a very wide range of published entry requirements between e.g. Edinburgh and Winchester. Applicants usually have a fairly good idea what sort of grades they're likely to get and apply to unis in a narrower band than that.

It was too far away from home-I'd have to fly, and I'm a home student! Plus the lecturers for my course couldn't seem less interested in teaching undergrads and making it attractive to prospective students if they tried! I also couldn't do joint honours like I wanted to
I guess getting shoved into oncoming traffic because of my English accent didn't help my perceptions either*

Scottish universities often appear on websites like Which appearing to take grades lower than what they will actually accept (eg Edinburgh appears on Which asking for 275-340 tariff points - but in reality their standard offer is AAB or occasionally ABB if you're taking 2 science subjects http://www.ed.ac.uk/studying/undergr...amme&code=C800, the same is true for Glasgow - their standard offer is AAB but they might offer BBB in exceptional circumstances http://www.gla.ac.uk/undergraduate/d...ryrequirements ).
What sort of study environment and living environment are you looking for? Big city, small city, campus, big town, leafy, urban etc etc?
In terms of universities offering around the ABB/BBB/BBC level for psych/crim courses I'd suggest looking at http://www.aston.ac.uk/study/undergr...hs/psychology/ , http://www.swansea.ac.uk/undergradua...andpsychology/ , http://www.chi.ac.uk/bsc-hons-psychology , http://www.worcester.ac.uk/journey/p...-bsc-hons.html , http://www.essex.ac.uk/courses/detai...092&subgroup=1 , https://www.uea.ac.uk/study/undergra...bsc-psychology , http://www.bbk.ac.uk/study/2017/unde...mes/UUBSPSYC_C and a bunch of others - there are some very good smaller/less well known universities where the quality of the course and teaching will be better than what you'd get from a russell group uni asking for A grades.

Personally I think Edinburgh is wonderful - a truly beautiful city, a big cultural centre, close to stunning countryside. It would be my number 1 if you can make the grades.
I would also recommend straight psychology over psych and crim. Joint honours courses often tend to fall between two stools, and I have seen many students miss out on important aspects of psychology because of it. You can usually focus your interests in your final year of study anyway.

Thanks for anyone who answered, I am hoping to get grades around BBB and my psychology teacher said that i could achieve A in psychology as any mock test we did in class usually I was 2 or 3 marks of an A. Did anyone gone to any of the universities i listed? I would be interested in your opinion about them.

Winchester is a lovely campus in a lovely town but the university is not particularly high ranked and I can imagine the town becoming boring with not much nightlife.
Plymouth I didn't like. Grubby rough town with a lot of chavs, miles from any other town and a spread out boring campus. Also ranked low. You should apply for better unis
