Is it possible to move out at 16 and if so how do I go about it? I find myself in my room most of the day to avoid arguments because my parents are constantly nagging me and having ago, and tbf I'm bored of it

    Any replies are appreciated

Yes it's possible but honestly it's better to wait until 18. I don't know if you're still in school or what but even if you get a full-time job it's hard to support yourself financially because there are so many restrictions hour and pay-wise on under 18s that it's just hard to make enough money. There's a good website here which explains it better, including getting a tenancy under 18. I'd give that a read.I have a friend who had to move out when he was 17, his mum was moving to New Zealand and he wanted to stay in the UK for a year to finish his A-Levels. So she rented a flat in her name, and just got him to send her the rent every month so he wouldn't have to go through the hassle of being denied tenancy at his age. I'm just saying if your parents were on board with you moving out it doesn't have to be a process you go through totally alone.
