I was wondering if the work we have done so far is just practice or are we suppose to give it in year 11 or something like that

Presumably this is Art, and Year 10 work? It Matters.

I'm not entirely aware of school/course details but I did my first two projects of my GCSE in Year 10, and they are part of it and they will be submitted.

I am of course, assuming that you meant Art when you said "Sketchbook"

The sketchbooks do matter. If you lose even 1, YOU CAN LOSE SOOOOO MANY MARKS.
