quick question:

i just got a mini ipod. can i put songs from a music cd onto my pc and then send them to the ipod?
i mean will the cd let me copy songs onto the pc?

yeah u just need to rip them to mp3 format (presuming apple haven't changed anything?!?) using a free ripper such as CDEX (can't remember where i got it from) which converts the cd tracks to mp3 tracks on your pc.

of course *in theory* you should own the copyright of the tracks........

no radio, only supports **** formats, itunes is a piece of ****, high price. i would rather wait for sony to release their competing product - then see what apple are really made of

couldnt you just use windows media player???

I don't think the iPOD supports WMA. Also, there are no free MP3 encoders form Windows Media Player.
