So i had emailed a bunch of universities way before i was going to apply to uni, however due to the impending deadline (30th) I sent off my ucas application off last week but did not put down this uni down in my choice as they did not reply to my email (i emailed them if they could consider me as i had lower than required entry requirements)

However today they have emailed me and said they would consider me, i am really keen on studying at this uni as they were my dream uni, and they are ranked much higher in the degree i want to do!

how do i proceed? is there anything i could do? i dont mind making another ucas application and forking out the extra £20? or is that not allowed?

If they've just said they'll consider you, that doesn't mean much. It doesn't mean you're guaranteed an offer.

You can't make another ucas application. You would need to get rid of all your other choices and apply through Clearing. That's risky if you haven't got anything definite from the dream uni
