Hi, I'd appreciate any help please as I'm very confused. Sorry its a bit long winded.I started an access course last year, with 'Distance Learning Centre' Access to Health Professions. I struggled from the get go as I was living on a tiny island with barely enough internet to Skype my tutor. Anyway, I did most of the course and then as it was coming into May my tutor recommended that I go for November moderation - which I accepted to bide me some more time.I applied for the Occupational Therapy course at Plymouth University and got a conditional offer - based on grades.I spoke to my tutor and said to her I can't complete the course as I'm finding it too tough. So she marked it as finished. So now I've thought that's my one chance to get in this year, goneToday I've received an email from the university chasing me up for my DBS forms etc, I emailed saying that I hadn't received the grades and I won't be getting in this year. To which she replied saying - still apply you may never know.So - my question here is - can I still go ahead as normal and hope for the best?Does Plymouth accept 'November moderation'? - basically when the grades get given out.And my grades are Developmental - Basic Principles in English Language P 3 (Level 2) 14/09/2015 A Developmental - Basic principles in Mathematics P 3 (Level 2) 27/10/2015 A Biology - Anatomy and Physiology of the Human Skeleton and Muscles M (1M 2M 5M 7M) 3 (Level 3) 18/11/2015 A Biology - Cardiovascular Respiratory and Gastro-Intestinal Systems P (1M 2P 4P 5M 7P) 6 (Level 3) 24/02/2016 A Biology - Homeostasis Co-ordination and Control and the Excretory Systems M (1M 2M 4M 5M 7M) 6 (Level 3) 09/12/2015 A Biology - Human Reproductive Biology M (1M 2M 3M 5M 7M) 3 (Level 3) 09/02/2016 ABiology - Introduction to Cell Biology P 3 (Level 3) 17/11/2015 A Biology - Macromolecules and Key Biological Principles P (2P 4P 5M 7P E1M E6M E7M) 6 (Level 3) 12/02/2016 A Developmental - Study Skills P 3 (Level 3) 05/10/2015 Psychology - Introduction to Developmental Psychology P 3 (Level 3) 30/06/2016 Entry requirements for the course;60 credits overall with 45 at level 3, of which 30 must be at distinction level, including 15 in a Science/s. A further 15 points must be at merit level. Must have GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or be taking them. Thanks in advance, Vicky

You have to meet requirements by august 31st in most cases, so i think plymouth have told you the wrong thing, sorry.

Hi Claireestelle, I thought that might be the problem - it was my tutor for my access course - not Plymouth Uni Thanks for your reply, Vicky
