Firstly, I would like to apologise if I have placed this discussion in the wrong category - I simply didn't really know where to put it - because it is a bit of an odd post if I'm being honest!

The context to my dilemma is this: my Year 11 Prom is on Tuesday 5th (so in five days, at the time of writing) and I am going with a 'friend'. Unfortunately, my inner confliction has been made more complicated than that! I asked her to prom several months ago when we spoke quite regularly, but now we speak far, far less - mainly because she is now part of my friendship group... Which was either her successful attempt to friend-zone me, or just a stifling way of trying to talk to me more: either way, it's a bit sh**!

So my predicament is this: do I rush out and buy a corsage at the last minute, or do I leave it and play dumb - because until a friend of mine showed me pictures from their prom I had no idea that they even existed!

As you can tell - I'm conflicted :| I look forward to hearing what you think... Cheers in advance
