Hello there, fellow students! I would like to document my attempt to tick all the boxes of my summer bucket list, and I would love it if you could join me on this exciting journey!
My name is Alex, I just finished my A-levels and I can't wait to enjoy this summer as much as possible, as I see it as my last summer as a teenager before I start a new chapter in my life: Adulting.
My bucket list consists of items of various difficulty: there are some easy-peasy tasks, but also some that require time, money and effort. I will attempt all of them, and let's hope that I will be able to complete this challenge in full. The list is not complete yet, and I might add or change some of the tasks before the official deadline kicks in.

    Key:
    - to do
    < attempted/in progress
    x done

    The list:
    - Read at least 10 books.
    - Go geocaching.
    - Have a picnic in the park.
    - Go orienteering.
    - Have a Lord of the Rings marathon.
    - Take a very cheesy and touristy picture in Paris.
    - Try to master the art of eyeliner.
    - Bake a cake.
    - Start and finish writing a CV.
    - Volunteer somewhere.
    - Take a selfie every day for four weeks and make a video of it at the end.
    - Take my best friend out for a birthday surprise.
    - Have breakfast for dinner.
    - Use my bullet journal every day.
    - Go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
    - Go abroad.
    - Drink coffee and eat croissants in a cute cafe in Paris
    - Make and bury a time capsule with my brothers.
    - Practice reading with my 5 year old brother every week.
    - Buy something from Tesco at midnight.
    - Go on a random train adventure with my boyfriend.
    - Have a slumber party.
    - Make cauliflower pizza.
    - Make breakfast in bed for my mum.
    - Visit at least three museums/art galleries in my city.
    - Finish my Monet's painting jigsaw.
    - Let my mum dress me for three days in a row.
    - Have my boyfriend do my make-up.
    - Make a Thank You card for my favourite teacher instead of buying one.

Well, here we go! Wish me luck, and I hope you too will have a great and busy summer! I will try posting here every day or every other day to keep you updated on my progress, but I don't want to do everything too quickly. It's much better to take your time and actually enjoy each of the tasks.

I like the idea of making thank you cards... I may have to borrow that idea (not for my bucket list dw!) It would be a more personal way to show my gratitude
