I used the AQA Collins book and the website VBIO - they're excellent learning tools.

To revise for biology you really need to focus on learning what mark schemes want from you, biology is very content heavy if you attempt to learn absolutely everything in masses of detail, you'll struggle. Use the websites and the book to get the information but then use the mark schemes to condense this down so you're able to write a paragraph of information rather than 2 paragraphs of nonsense. I personally read over my notes anytime I got the chance - on the bus on the way to college, walking the dog - I definitely recommend reading your notes every evening.

I think Bio the easiest out of Bio,chem and phys
I just finished OCR Bio A2 and I don't regret picking it
Just make your own notes using the spec and the textbook and you should be fine
There is a lot of content to go over though, you do have to start revision early
You can find some great notes on studentroom as well.
