I'm currently studying English Literature, Classical Civilisations, Drama and Theatre Studies and Camb Tech Business at AS level.

I have completed the Camb Tech business course one year early and will have a full A2 equivalent by September. I have achieved a Distinction* (D*) for my work and the course is a Level 3 BTEC.

However, I still have my other three subjects. I am really, really hoping for A's in Drama and Classics however recently I have not been enjoying or doing as well in English, because of this, I was just wondering whether or not this would be detrimental to my Uni application? If I was to achieve D*AA and a C or lower in English, would universities turn me away because of this, despite getting high enough grades in the other subjects? Would English be a huge problem? Would they ignore the D*?

I am not looking to apply to Oxbridge but I am looking to apply to Russell group Uni's, especially King's College, UCL, Durham, Warwick or possibly York. I'm hoping to carry on Classics by applying for a Classical Studies degree.

I really appreciate any helpful suggestions anyone may have!
