Dear all, i hope i don't come across as forward or anything but i'm mixed race myself- both black and white. However, I'm applying for either biomedicine or medicine next year. I was wondering what universities in the UK have a larger proportion of black students? I love all races, just something that i feel i might as well ask for any comfort. Thanks!!

Why would you want comfort? I dont think you should or will epxerience racism at Yni as they are quit liberal institutions.
By black do you mean African or Afro Caribean or just non white? I think id look at Unis which have a high ethnic minority demographic as the home students will influence the overall student population.
With medicine I would be more focused on getting offers and you cna decide after whether you would feel more comfy afterwards at one whith higher % of black people. I think its hard enough getting a place, so I wouldnt take ethnicity into account and there are many other more importnat factors to tic.
I found information on ethnic minirtites by subject, but not by institution. You may need to look at indv unis for that.
