Is my boyfriend ignoring me or am I overreacting? Watch

My boyfriend's away on holiday and we've barely spoken since he left a week ago. I sent him a message yesterday and another one today, he's seen them but he hasn't replied to either one (I'm just going to leave it for now). We're both in a group chat with other people and he's said stuff in there, so it's not like he's too busy/doesn't have internet access. Also, the few messages he has sent me seemed pretty short and distant.

I feel quite upset. I'm not expecting any long replies or for him to talk to me all the time or even every day, but outright ignoring my messages (while he is talking to our friends in the group chat) seems a bit much.

Everything was completely fine before he left, he kept saying how much he was going to miss me, but now that doesn't really seem to be the case. Am I right to feel upset or am I overreacting? Should I just leave it till I see him (in a week's time), or should I ask him if something's wrong?

I think he's ignoring you by the looks of it. But he could be busy.

    Don't ask "is something wrong".

Maybe send a short message saying you hope he's having a great time, tell him a bit about your day, and that you miss him. Then leave it and see what happens.

Doubt he's ignoring you, give him the benefit of the doubt. When he's back see what happens, but don't go on the attack, he might not realise he's doing this.
