At what moral point should an MP ignore a referendum result? watch

    For example, if a referendum voted for Hitler, I would think we all would agree that MPs should ignore it...

    But where do you draw the line:

    result causes mass unemployment?
    OR
    break up of the nation?
    OR
    Rise in hate crimes?
    OR
    result based on lies and half truths?
    OR
    The removal of UK democracy?
    (EEA would make us an EU slave state)

    Where is your line in the sand where you think a result should be rejected on moral grounds?

    Well no if the referendum voted for Hitler, the MP's shouldn't ignore the result and act upon what the people have voted... at least that's what the Brexit camp would say
