I initially wanted to do 4 a levels(maths, physics, computer science and encomnics) then drop one after 1 year. But now a levels are changing, would I have to take all 4 a levels(since i want to do all ), and would the workload be too much?

No you can still take 4 and drop one, in which you would achieve an AS.

It depends on your college/sixth form and whether or not they enter you for official AS exams - you'd have to contact them to find out what they do but yeah, 4 A-Levels is too much
