    Hi,

I'm looking for people's experiences and advice.

I am going to start my PGCE in Chemistry this september and I'm really considering asking for a SEN school placement. I have a SEN child and SEN education is closer to my heart.
Do you work in a SEN specific secondary school? How do you find the work in SEN schools? Would my PGCE in Chemistry be enough?
I presume it must be very different to that of mainstream but I still wonder what are the challenges and the day to day of working in this environment.

    Thank you.
