    I need help in writing an personal statement to study psychology. I aspire to be a clinical psychologist, and i really want to make the opening sentence of my statement interesting.
    Help please (I used to want to become a vet which is why I have many work experience for that field; any possible links i could make?)

    There's lots of advise on this in the Personal Statement Advice forum and you can use the PS builder tool to help you arrange your thoughts and drafts: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/per...ake_some_notes

    Don't focus on the opening sentence - just bullet point down the points you want to get across and then refine them.

    And there's no point in trying to link vet met experience to psychology. Focus on extra reading instead
